Molly Shelleman’s childhood, education, and professional career have been shaped by outdoor experiences. From family camping trips as a kid to off-the-grid fieldwork she did to earn her PhD in Geological Sciences, she understands how transformative and empowering nature-based learning can be.

Now as a mom of young kids, Molly appreciates nature-based learning in a new light. She loves seeing the budding of observation skills and creativity paired with nature sights and sounds that help growing minds regulate emotions. She also values finding ways to increase accessibility for the next generation of nature lovers, whether that be through thoughtful trip planning to reduce uncertainties or finding budget-friendly outdoor gear for the whole family!
